Richard Hammond’s unexpected daily driver is a Ford Transit van

Richard Hammond chooses a surprisingly ordinary Ford Transit as his new daily driver after selling several cars to support The Smallest Cog. The video follows why a van makes sense for his restoration business, from its comfort, storage space and high driving position to the modern features that make it feel closer to a car than an old workhorse. Hammond also explains the nostalgic pull of vans from his younger days and why practicality now matters more than image. The only real problem is mileage: his lease allows 8,000 miles a year, but he has already covered more than 2,500 miles in just two months. It is a simple, funny look at why an unexpected work van may suit him better than a supercar.

This car finally drove after a $3 repair - then every warning light came back on

After rebuilding a badly wrecked car, the team takes it on a road trip of more than 1,000 miles toward an abandoned racing circuit outside Barcelona. The nearly 100-year-old track features enormous banked sections reaching around 78 degrees, an extremely rough concrete surface and a history stretching back to the 1920s. Four cars are selected for a challenge to see who can record the highest speed coming off the banking, despite suspension and four-wheel-drive faults appearing almost immediately. The rebuilt car repeatedly hits the rough surface, briefly goes airborne and damages its front splitter while pushing higher up the banking. In the final results, it records 81 MPH, while the winning car reaches 85 MPH on one of the most unusual tracks the group has ever attempted.

I found a 58-year-old car with only 1,000 miles on it - and bought it

Richard receives an incredible 1968 classic car that Dennis found near Dayton, Ohio, with only around 1,000 original miles and an almost completely untouched appearance. The story is that a young woman got the car around the time she received her driver’s license, but discovered that taking the city bus was cheaper than paying for gas, so the car ended up spending most of its life parked in a garage. It still has all five original tires, an amazingly preserved interior, original markings, dealer-installed air conditioning with its paperwork, and only minor paint touch-ups from decades of storage. The crew believes it may be the lowest-mileage 1968 example they could find records for and debates whether something this original belongs in a museum rather than being modified. After inspecting it closely, Richard decides to keep the remarkable time capsule.

Can a 707 HP Dodge Charger work as a daily driver?

DriveTribe takes on a Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody as its new daily driver, powered by a 6.2L supercharged Hemi V8 with 707 HP. Its left-hand-drive layout, huge width and aggressive power make narrow country roads feel demanding, while the cabin has some cheap plastics and awkward controls. The team also plans to wrap the body for filming, test its real power on a dyno and see whether this wild V8 muscle car can truly handle daily life.

Dramatic clouds roll across the sky above rolling green hills, adding atmosphere to the drive as the group approaches a sweeping red-and-white kerbed corner. With the track narrowing into the bend, finding a safe gap to pass both cars becomes increasingly difficult the closer they get. The footage captures the patience and timing required to work through Porsche-heavy traffic on one of the Nürburgring's more scenic public stretches.
