Tuned Cayman GTS Challenges Factory Race Car In Nürburgring Track
This Porsche Cayman GTS becomes a serious “GT4 Light” after a long list of track-focused upgrades transforms its braking, handling, and engine response. With Endless MX72 pads, a GT3 master cylinder, Öhlins Road & Track coilovers, GT3 control arms, polyurethane bushings, bump steer adjustments, a full exhaust, ECU tune, and around 380 HP on 100-octane fuel, the car feels much sharper than a standard GTS. On the Nürburgring, it shows strong braking feel, lively engine character, and impressive cornering potential, although the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires and softer suspension setup limit its ultimate pace. The biggest missing piece is aerodynamic confidence at high speed, where a larger rear wing and front splitter could bring it closer to GT4 stability. The result is an exciting Cayman build that may offer a more emotional driving experience than a factory GT4, especially with shorter gearing feel, stronger response, and a setup that still has room to improve.
